Ski children TOP group
SNOWGARDEN “PREMIUM QUALITY” & “TOP GROUP”LESSONS CHILD – TEEN
- Small groups of 3 to a maximum of 6 children per class even in high season.
- For extra security all children wear group colours, which make them easily identifiable.
- We would like to bring to your attention the fact that children have more fun working in small groups and they make better progress.
- Really cool! – at the end of the week the kids receive a certificate and a medal (the programme test is identical in over 95 ESI’s).
- Snowgarden “Premium Quality” : Warning this is not a nursery but really the teaching of skiing! Quality guaranteed by our unique offering in the world SATISFIED or MONEY BACK! (see terms and conditions).
- Timetable : Mornings 10:10-12:25 (or 1:30 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. even in high season)
- PACKAGE : 1 week “Top Group” lessons and 1 private lesson the Sunday
THE LEVELS BELOW ARE THE LEVELS THAT THE CHILD MUST HAVE AT THE BEGINNING OF THE WEEK.
Remember that it is not good and inhibits a child’s learning to be the least abled in the group, ask your instructor to see if you are able to change. The same can be said for finding a class to easy. As a result it is very important to ensure your children are in the correct class.

Your choice will aid in fluidity of classes, the number of children per class, and the enjoyment of your children. We reserve the right to change children who are not in a suitable class.

ALPINE SKIING LEVELS “TOP GROUP”
- Snowgarden : I am between 3 ½ and 5 ½ years old, I have started and I want to ski like my parents.
- Class 1 : I walk and move with skis, I “turn” both ways, and I brake. Like an adult, and without the help of Mum or Dad, I take the small lifts alone.
- Class 2 : I take the lifts without a problem, I ski “Blue” runs and now my ski tips are not always in snow plough.
- Class 3 : I ski on the “Blue” runs and sometimes on the “Reds”. In “basic parallel” at the moment and at the end of the week I should be able to have my skis constantly parallel to go to class 4. This is a very difficult step … This class is often the most repeated!
- Class 4 : I must ski “perfectly” parallel on the “Red” runs.
- Class 5 : The “Reds” runs are too easy for me. Now I want to learn small “Short” turns and I am interested in the “Snow park” but can’t do anything!
- Class 6 : ”Black” runs, “Freeride”, “Freestyle”, “Slalom” are on the menu in my class, this is what I will discover this week depending on the conditions and level. More of a casual ‘ski with friends class’ where we have cool lessons because the conventional lessons are not really enticing enough … When I have earned my “Crystal Diamond” medal, I’d be willing to start my training as a young instructor.
Private ski
PROGRESS IS MADE QUICKLY AND RESULTS ARE OBVIOUS AFTER ONLY A FEW HOURS.
- Alone, with family or between friends, from 4 to 104 years, from beginners to experts, the most prudent to the most reckless, from babylifts to black runs, from slalom poles to powdery slopes, our instructors will take great pleasure in sharing their passion with you.
- To make sure you waste no time, you are privileged and have priority over other users when taking the ski-lifts.
- Internship opportunity slalom on request (minimum 3 hours).
- If you wish to hire a teacher for the day, he can collect you at your hotel or chalet, correct your performance using video or take you to discover other ski resorts in the Val d’Anniviers.
- FAMILY PACK : Profited from a treatment V.I.P. An instructor look after you and of your family during 180 mins.
Ski baby 2,5 – 3,5 years old
A teaching specialized for your Precious children
- Step by step your little ones learn the basics of skiing by teachers especially trained to take care of an adapted progression.
- Coaching especially aimed for a fun learning in a safely protected environment as well in private lesson from 2.5 years (see below) than group from 3.5 years.
Backcountry skiing
WANT TO EAT? GRIMENTZ-ZINAL FREERIDE PARADISE!
- We’ll let you discover the paramount of off-piste skiing in Switzerland.
- Whether skiing, snowboarding or by telemark – if you are at an intermediate or advanced level and above all you have a furious desire to go further, you’re in luck – you’ve just knocked at the right door…
- You’ll be able to get a “taste” of the pleasures found in dry powder or fresh spring snow whilst benefiting from a well-supervised outing in a happy atmosphere.
- For your own security we will provide you with a DVA (avalanche victim detector) and a bag containing a spade and probe.
Private snowboard
NOT AS EASY AS IT LOOKS
- A good way to start is practice daily. This way we minimise the amount of falls and make quicker progress. At the end of the week your body will thank you….
- To make sure you waste no time, you are privileged and have priority over other users when taking the ski-lifts.
- You’ve made progress and your level is good – now it’s time to head out to the snowpark or the higher slopes. Our instructors will show you how to do jumps and spins. Are you ready for take-off ?
Ski touring
- Come and discover the joys of ski touring in magical places, from beginnings to discover this sport, to longer hikes for more experienced hikers, everyone will find happiness here at their own pace.
Private telemark
FREE HEEL, FREE SPIRIT – THE LEITMOTIF OF EVERY TELEMARKER
- Telemark – the ancestor of skiing – is coming back strong.
- On the piste or in soft powder, an unforgettable sensation of elegance. Try it and you’re hooked…
- Our instructors will be happy to teach you not only about the techniques but also about the philosophy of this ancestral sport.
- Don’t forget to reserve the date of our “Thigh On Fire Trophy” (short classic – see events).
- Private lessons or an initiation course in groups of 3 to 6 people: 1 afternoon every week. The necessary equipment is provided.

- “Cross-country skiing” is always done in Zinal due to a greater diversity of trails for all levels.
